As part of the improvements and alterations to TATE Britain, we were contracted to manufacture and install a unique shop. Working from design intent by renowned designer Kit Grover, we developed and refined the design of the fixtures to suit purpose and manufacture.

Despite the lack of natural light and subterranean location of the shop, the end result is bright and spacious. The use of discrete lighting sources, such as hidden L.E.D. lighting and Barrisol light frames, really makes the product stand out against the stark white fixtures.

The material pallet for the fixtures was powdercoated fabricated steelwork with inset carpentry elements finished in a matching solid surface (LG Hi-Macs).
